This week we introduce you to the newest member of the Pet Care team at Brighton, Brian Hopson! Read on to learn more about Brian and his role at the agency.

What is your current role at Brighton?

I’m an Account Manager on the Pet Care team.

Before Brighton, what was your professional role?

I was an Account Supervisor at an advertising agency in Chicago.

What is your favorite thing about working at Brighton?

It’s tough to pick a favorite thing so quickly, but I feel lucky to be working on great products with great people. Also, after spending 13 years in the city, it’s pretty cool to look out the window and see tree tops stretching in every direction.

Outside of work, what are your hobbies?

I’m a new homeowner, so DIY projects and trips to Lowe’s pretty much consume my free time (it’s a little sick when you start recognizing the employees at the hardware store). But I actually enjoy it. It’s satisfying to fix things and I’ve built some furniture that turned out pretty well (words I never thought I would utter).

Can you share a “fun fact” about yourself?

I guess a fun fact would be that I was an extra in the movie High Fidelity. For the record, John Cusack whined about his wardrobe ALL day…

Anything else you would like to add…

I live in Webster Groves with my wife, Kelly. We’re expecting our first baby in September, a role that is currently filled by our cat, who thinks he’s a dog. Seriously, he begs to play fetch and growls at the FedEx guy.
